CHRISTINA KAPLAN

Christina M. Kaplan (aka “The Polaris Pirate) is a Miami-born Cuban-American author and artist who writes adventurous and romantic fiction inspired by historical fact, legend, and the tapestry of her Sephardic heritage. In 2022, she fell in love with and relocated to the ancient city of St. Augustine, Florida, with her husband and children, embracing the beauty and life found in all corners of its rich past and colorful present. Ignited by inspiration, she crafted her first-ever novel “Whispers of the Castillo,” which serves as a love letter to the charming city that gifted Christina and her family new beginnings.
